Optical Fiber Thermal Buffer Stripper is an alternative to mechanical buffer removing tools when there is a requirement for reliable and 100% clean removal of buffer materials from optical fibers, which is a must in mechanical and fusion splicing, as well as in termination of some traditional ferrule-based connectors. OFTBS-1 is recommended as a buffer removing tool in termination procedures of Signamax Field-Installable Pre-Polished Optical Fiber Connectors.
